In all of modern times, the only thing the three-headed monster of religion-politics-science has consistently agreed on is, in the early decades of the Common Era, Jesus lived, and Jesus was a good guy.
To Christians, Jesus is 1) God made manifest, or God appearing in human skin and bones, simultaneously human and spirit, and a good guy, plus #2 and #3 below. Jews and Muslims agree Jesus was 2) a prophet, and a good guy. Politics and science grudging admit that 3) Jesus was a good guy.
And consciously or unconsciously, all recognize that Jesus was effeminate. The first portrait of Jesus was painted in or about the year 235 which was approximately 200 years after Jesus died. In that first portrait Jesus is depicted as smooth faced, spiritually and hormonally predisposed to femininity. The only other explanation could be that Jesus was a gentle spirit, uncomfortable in macho appearance, and in opposition to societal norms and customs and practices, he somehow removed or had all of his facial hair removed. That didn’t happen.
Since then, Jesus has appeared and continues to appear on canvas, carved into wood and stone, rendered in porcelain and crystal and stained glass, with a beard, and always with long hair. Caucasian Jesus always has long, flowing, strawberry blond hair and almost gossamer white robes, perhaps with some golden threads and as attractive as his mother’s own saintly finery. The more realistic black Jesuses are typically depicted with long hair in cornrows or dreadlocks, a soft and gentle looking face, and dressed in a pure white robe. Long hair has always been worn by both genders, however, throughout modern history, long hair has tended to be thought of as feminine.
Religion markets God as powerful and strong, aggressively loving and/or vengeful and warlike, and yet Jesus – God in human form – is visualized by religion-politics-science as good and peaceful without a sense of power. Jesus as male of fluid gender identity who relates to nature’s peaceful feminine spirit begins to reconcile the hopes and dreams and prayers of many, all except those of the strict patriarchal persuasion. Power and control are departure from nature and never good. Power and control are assault on nature and never peaceful. Nature comprises peace & truth.
Knowledge/wisdom flows eternally through us. It’s when we know for certain that something is right and good and natural. We know it as peace within and flowing outward. Effeminate Jesus is not only good and right but also the expression of eternally flowing peace & truth. God and we are good, without sense of masculine strength, power, control. Peace & truth is antidote for human forgetfulness of how to know and be known, and forgetting we are One.
Every one of us, even the most patriarchal have this knowledge in us. Some are unwilling to surrender to peace & truth. Many of us struggle without it our whole lives until we stumble upon it hidden in plain sight. Eternal peace & truth is natural, nature is thusly feminine, femininity is good and right, and peace and truth emanate from X chromosomes whether we have two or one, and without regard for gender identity – we’re all good.

A different perspective than I’ve ever read or heard of. Interesting.
